The Kentucky Dem has a great article about Kentucky Basketball History. He goes on to talk about the coaches and teams that have built the Kentucky Basketball dynasty.

What can I say? This is the state of Kentucky. Sure I am a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan but my first love has been and will always be the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Basketball is a way of life in the Commonwealth. The first question you get asked anywhere, no matter what the circumstance: UK or U of L. You have to pick one no matter what, even if you did go to one of the other colleges in the state.

Following in the long line of speculation around the Bluegrass State. I submit the latest rumor on the University of Kentucky’s search for a new Basketball Coach. According to Aaron’s UK Basketball Blog, the new head coach will not be Jay Wright. He bases this on the fact that UK has not asked for permission to speak to Coach Wright.
