For once the Governor has stood up and said that this is ridiculous.  Colonel Sanders is a honored Kentuckian and Kentucky is proud

“We certainly appreciate everyone’s right to an opinion,” spokeswoman Jodi Whitaker said. “Colonel Sanders was one of Kentucky’s most distinguished citizens, a great entrepreneur and a fine charitable man of faith, and he certainly has a place in Kentucky history. We believe he warrants appropriate recognition as such.”

We say:   Colonel Sanders is a legend in Kentucky having the savvy to do something other could not.  Whether its Fried Chicken or the Louisville Slugger we should all be proud. To PETA I say people need to eat.  And  to Pamela Anderson, I say keep your nose in California and out of Kentucky
