Basketball and ugh football.

Kentucky Basketball is finally starting to warm up for this season. Currently, ranked in the top 10 the Wildcats should provide some very entertaining games for their fans.
Meanwhile, the Kentucky football team will finally end its season against the Vols. There is some talk of a possible upset. I doubt they can muster a respectable performance. However, there is good news. It is the last game of the horrible season. And the offensive coordinator quit. These are both good things for next season. Like any good wildcat fan we hold out hope that next season will be better than the last. Sometimes thats not a hard thing to fathom.

Go Cats.

Lest you think I forgot about football.

Yes, the Kentucky Wildcats won another game! In the battle of the losing records the Cats pulled out a win against Vandy. Amazing, Stupendous, that is about all I can say. It has been a rough season. I am sure all the fan’s are ready for it to end. At least we have ended on a “high note”.

Don’t forget the Brand

Recently, Kentucky has been going through a “branding” process. Essentially, we want a new logo. This logo will let us represent the state in a more positive manner. The governor has spent several million dollars to allow us to feel better about the state. So please support the process. Go to the link and vote for the logo you like. Don’t forget to feel better about yourself.
Go Kentucky!

Thank you!

I just noticed that I have had over 3000 hits to the site! I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that take a interest in Kentucky and happen to find my site. I also want to say hello to any visitors from Hazard, KY. I noticed a jump in hits from a community forum in Hazard.

Are curious what this site is about? So was I when I first started it. Then I came to realize that the purpose was to promote Kentucky. I wanted people to know what was going on around the state. This site allows me to share some of those things about the state that I was not aware of. I have lived in Kentucky all of my life and I have not seen everything there is too see. My hope is I can show you some things you have not seen. Thanks for visiting the site! Come back soon.
