Here is a bit about the Paris. But not that Paris.

Paris is located about 17 miles from Lexington – Kentucky’s largest city. The main connecting road between Lexington and Paris is the Paris Pike. After years of controversy, the project to four-lane the road is about one-third complete. The Paris Pike four-laning project has won national awards for the environmentally and scenically sensitive plans for the road that will showcase indigenous trees and habitats; stone walls and lovely horse farm vistas while still delivering a safe drive to the many who use the road each day. The project is scheduled for completion by 2005
